Damiano & Stacey – Maternity Shoot – January 22nd, 2010

I had the opportunity to photograph Damiano and Stacey two weeks ago. They are expecting their first child. We hadn’t met before the shoot, so I was pretty excited when they got out of their car and were both dressed in vibrant colours. I LOVE when clients add a little colour to their wardrobe. I know I sound like a huge dork, but colour excites me! I also get really excited about winter accessories (hats, boots, mittens [ooh - those little mittens on the strings], scarves, earmuffs – you get the picture!).

And since we’re on the topic of things that excite me, I was practically jumping up and down when I looked out the window an hour before the shoot and saw snow falling from the sky. Beautiful FAT snowflakes! Not wet, slushy, dirty snow – fluffy, white, sparkling snowflakes just HAPPENED to be falling. I’m like a little kid when I look at thousands of snowflakes falling from the sky, and can’t seem to wrap my head around the fact that no two snowflakes are ever the same…

Anyway, I had a great time with both of you. Dam, you just light up around your bride and the little peanut she’s carrying. I can’t wait to see you in a few weeks with your new son or daughter. Stacey, you are SO adorable! You truly have that pregnant “glow” that everyone talks about! I’ll be thinking of you next week on your due date. I’m so looking forward to meeting your new baby….

Enjoy your sneak peek and enjoy the last few days you have left of your pregnancy (this time goes by so quickly….)13213141516171819110111112113114
