M. Family – Waiting for Babies…

In a few short weeks, the M. Family will be a family of five! They are expecting fraternal twin girls (I am SO excited to photograph them! They were already 4.5 pounds each on the day of the session). If they are anything like Big Brother T., the session will be a breeze! He was one of the most easygoing little guys I have ever photographed! This gorgeous mama looks so beautiful pregnant (I think she looks a little like Drew Barrymore).

Amy, I am so in love with your baby belly! I can’t wait to meet these two and to see Little T. with his new sisters. Enjoy your sneak peek.

Mommy Market Sale!

I’m going to be participating in the first annual Mommy Market Sale is being held at the Oil Heritage District Community Centre. The sale will include new and used children’s items, as well as many local, talented crafters and “mompreneurs” (probably with babies in tow!). Admission is $2 at the door with the proceeds going toward building outdoor play equipment for the centre.

The Community Centre is at 360 Tank St. (right off Petrolia Line) in Petrolia and runs from 9am until 2pm tomorrow (Saturday, April 2nd).

Book a 2011 photo session with Sarah Graham Photography tomorrow and $25 of the session fee will be donated towards the play equipment for the centre!

And because no post is complete without a photo – here’s something to get you thinking about Spring! Nothing like squishy green grass and a pair of rubber boots.

I photographed this little brother and sister at just over three weeks old. They were still so tiny and sleepy. Miss A. has the cutest little lips and perfect newborn skin. Ron and Tracey, hope you enjoy your sneek preview of the session. Your babies are beautiful….

These little guys were so adorable. I was told that Mr. L. was a little fussier than his brother, but we took off their clothes and snuggled them together, and they could have slept in their little hug all day long without a peep. I chose to post just the simple photos. No props, no clothes – just babies…

All You Need is LOVE… – Little Miss A. & Mr. C. – January 27th, 2010

I always think about what an AWESOME job I have when I get to photograph newborns – and, believe me, photographing twins is a double dose of AWESOMENESS (such a great word…I had to look that one up to make sure it was actually a word!). I had such a great time with this sleepy little brother and sister. I’m sure in two years there will be lots of yelling and poking and hair pulling, but for now, they are content to just sweetly snuggle up to one another. Mr. C. was alert for most of the session, but Miss A. just slept and slept (at birth, she was a pound lighter and 6 inches shorter than her brother, so she still has some catching up to do!). I love the close up of her lips covered in little milk blisters (I LOVE little newborn lips). Deb, thank-you for inviting me into your home to photograph your babies. They are so beautiful and so perfect. Isn’t life fantastic?

[Note to my photographer friends: I'm working with a new screen profile - could anyone let me know if the whites look blown out? I'm looking at this on my father's computer and it doesn't look like it does on my screen. The fur is blown out in all the images]
