Andrew & Natalie – Engagement Session – October 9th, 2009

Yes, this is my third post today, but I’m trying to get caught up on all the sessions I have not yet blogged! I am really excited about this engagement session. I had such a great time photographing this couple. Andrew and Natalie met at a book club. She was wearing her favourite blue sweater. Andrew walked in and she immediately noticed his large, green eyes. They met. They talked. The rest is history. Andrew never returned to the book club because (and I quote) he got “everything he wanted” out of his first and only meeting.

Sometimes as a photographer, I have moments where I am overwhelmed with how lucky I am to have such an incredible job. I had one of these moments at the end of this session. The weather, the colours (the red sweater! the fall leaves!), and the dynamic between this couple were incredible. Andrew and Natalie drove up from Toronto for these photos and the forecast called for rain ALL DAY! It rained before the shoot, and it started to rain again just as we were walking back to our vehicles. Talk about perfect timing! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! I had a great time working with you. Andrew, it was great to meet you. Natalie, I hope you find the perfect wedding dress!12223242525b617181910111121
